Every wedding party needs a little extra personality, so we couldn’t leave out our two favorite furry friends! Unfortunately, Dexter and Ellie won’t be able to attend the celebration due to the venue’s no-pet policy, but they’ll definitely be there in spirit.

Professional napper, snack enthusiast, and self-appointed household boss. A little sassy, very food-driven, and always ready to remind us when it’s dinner time.

Black Canyon Inn offers onsite lodging, where immediate family of the Trammell and Staats families will be staying during the wedding. Friends and family are welcome to book onsite as well, and the bride and groom will be staying in the Suites from Wednesday, May 12 through Friday, May 14. Guests booking onsite can use the code 5WED for 5% off their stay. Please keep in mind that onsite lodging requires a two night minimum and rooms are booking quickly for May 2027. For those interested, we have reserved two larger lodges (6-8 guests) as getting ready locations for the bridal and groom parties on the wedding day. Due to the two night minimum, these spaces are reserved Wednesday, May 12 through Friday, May 14, but will only be occupied until the early afternoon of the wedding day. If you are interested in staying at either lodge the night of the wedding, please reach out to the bride or groom for more information and to coordinate arrangements. This is a great option for anyone who would prefer to stay onsite after the celebration without booking a full two night stay.

If you have some extra time during your Colorado stay, take a trip to Golden! This town holds a special place in our hearts since it is where Curtis grew up. Spend the day exploring historic downtown, walking along Clear Creek, checking out local shops, taking a tour of the Coors Brewery, or enjoying the beautiful views from Lookout Mountain. Of course, we have to share a few of our favorite Golden spots! Grab a pizza at Woody's Wood-Fired Pizza, enjoy one of our go-to meals at Bonfire Burritos, and stop by Barrels &amp; Bottles for a wine slushy (a must for Ally!). These are a few of the places that make Golden feel special to us, and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

A Day Trip to Golden, CO

While the wedding weekend may come to an end, our Colorado adventure continues! We’ll be heading to Glenwood Springs after the wedding to relax, explore, and soak in a little more of what Colorado has to offer. If you’re also extending your stay, we’d love to have you join us for more memories, laughs, and time together after the big day.
